Hataka BS107 WW2 Dutch AF Paint Set Vol. 1 is a professional set of six acrylic paints for model making (each 17 ml), designed for painting aircraft models from the interwar period and the beginning of World War II in the colors of the Dutch Air Force LVA (Luchtvaartafdeling). This set has been prepared with the highest attention to historical color accuracy, making it an ideal choice for modelers seeking to faithfully recreate the liveries of aircraft used by the LVA between 1919 and 1940.

The Dutch military aviation (LVA) was officially established in 1913 and from the start used distinctive paint schemes for its aircraft. In the 1920s and 1930s, green-blue patterns prevailed (LVA Khaki over LVA Blue), while training aircraft were often entirely covered in LVA Blue. It was only just before the outbreak of World War II, when modernization of the fleet began after a long period of underfunding, that more complex camouflage schemes appeared. In 1939–1940, most Dutch combat aircraft were painted in a unique camouflage: Camouflage Green, Beige, and Brown on upper surfaces, and Camouflage Brown below. The presented Hataka paint set allows you to reproduce these exact historical paint schemes, including subtle differences in the coloration of reconnaissance and training aircraft.

• 6 water-based acrylic paints, 17 ml each, easy to apply by airbrush or brush.
• Excellent coverage and shade accuracy in accordance with LVA documentation from 1919–1940.
• Applications: plastic models, resin models, primed surfaces.
• Full compatibility with other Hataka Blue Line system products.

Recommended for: intermediate and advanced modelers who value historical painting accuracy, as well as all fans of aviation from the interwar and early World War II period. The set is especially appreciated by those building models of aircraft such as the Fokker D.XXI, Koolhoven F.K.58, or LVA training and reconnaissance planes.

Difficulty level: 1/5 – the paints are easy to use, making them a perfect choice both for beginners and more advanced modelers.
