W drugiej części monografii samolotu P-47 Thunderbolt przedstawiono warianty i subwarianty wyposażone w kroplowe osłony kabiny (od P-47D-25 do N-25), opisując przeprowadzone w nich zmiany. Omówiono zastosowanie bojowe samolotów P-47 na Pacyfiku, w Birmie i Chinach od ich debiutu na tym teatrze operacyjnym do końca wojny, w tym mało znane działania Thunderboltów nad macierzystymi wyspami Japonii w 1945 roku. Ponadto zaprezentowano użycie bojowe jednostek wyposażonych w P-47 w zachodniej Europie od stycznia do maja 1944 roku, a także we Włoszech. Przedstawiono losy poszczególnych jednostek jak i służących w nich pilotów ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem tych, którzy wyróżnili się w walkach.

The second part of the monograph on the P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft presents variants and sub-variants equipped with drop cockpit guards (from P-47D-25 to N-25), describing the modifications carried out in them. The combat use of P-47 aircraft in the Pacific, Burma and China from their debut in this theater of operations until the end of the war is discussed, including the little-known operations of the Thunderbolts over the Japanese home islands in 1945. In addition, the combat use of units equipped with P-47s in western Europe from January to May 1944, as well as in Italy, is presented. The fate of the individual units as well as the pilots serving in them is presented, with particular emphasis on those who distinguished themselves in combat.
Text in Polish and English, 128 pages, 126 photographs (including 13 in color), 18 sheets of model drawings in 1:48 scale, including a list of external changes in serial versions of the aircraft, 6 pages of color charts with 16 examples of painting.
