Master GM-72-027 is a 90mm L/53 metal barrel, designed for models of the Italian anti-aircraft and anti-tank gun Cannone da 90/53 in 1/72 scale. This product is an excellent addition to advanced models of armored vehicles and artillery from the Second World War period. The Cannone da 90/53 gun was used primarily by Italy, both as a towed artillery piece (artilleria trainata) and as armament integrated onto armored vehicles, including the Lancia 3Ro truck and Semovente M41M self-propelled gun in its early versions.

The Cannone da 90/53 appeared in the early 1940s and served in the Italian army mainly in North Africa and on the Italian front. Most units were used between 1941–1945, where it gained recognition for its significant firepower and good accuracy, often compared to the well-known German 88mm Flak.
