Historical Information

In 1944, in response to the increasing threat from Allied aviation, the Luftwaffe modified its camouflage schemes, gradually introducing RLM83 and RLM75 colors while continuing to use RLM76 on the undersides of fuselage and wings. These changes aimed to improve the concealment of aircraft such as the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 or Messerschmitt Bf 109 during operations over the Western Front. The 83+75/76 scheme was officially adopted and used until August 1944 in the final period of World War II.
