The Mercedes-Benz 320 (W142) Cabriolet, developed by Daimler-Benz AG, was a luxury car with a six-cylinder 3.2-litre engine (later 3.4 l, output 78 HP) used as a staff vehicle for high command of the Wehrmacht and also served in the Luftwaffe. Its distinctive, elegant silhouette with an open roof was often seen on the European fronts of World War II, serving in both the French campaign and eastern operations.
