Eduard 3DL72009 CS-199 SPACE EDUARD 1/72 – Set of Detail Accessories for the Model

We offer an exceptional set of model accessories Eduard 3DL72009 CS-199 SPACE EDUARD 1/72, dedicated to plastic models of the Avia CS-199 aircraft in 1/72 scale. This is a set of upgrades from the renowned SPACE series, which will deliver your model an unprecedented level of cockpit realism – both visually and to the touch.

The CS-199 aircraft is the Czechoslovakian trainer version of the famous Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter, produced by Avia in the post-war years 1948–1957 – during the Cold War era. It was widely used in Czechoslovakia and Israel during the first years of the latter's existence, including in the Arab-Israeli War of 1948. It was characterized by a modified engine and cockpit construction.

  • Scale: 1/72 – ideal for collectible miniatures and aviation dioramas.
  • Countries of use: Czechoslovakia, Israel.
  • Historical period: Cold War and post-war years (1948-1957).
  • Category: Set of additional details for plastic models – accessories for cockpit customization.

The set includes three-dimensional 3D decals for the main and side instrument panels as well as control panels, plus a set of steel, photo-etched details and ultra-realistic seatbelts for the pilot’s seat. Eduard SPACE solutions are extremely easy to apply, require no specialized experience, and deliver a stunning final effect, even better reflecting the original appearance of the CS-199 cockpit.

Materials used: resin, 3D-printed decals (raised instrument effect), stainless steel (photo-etched parts), and textile material for the seatbelts. Everything fits perfectly to the 1/72 scale CS-199 model.

Recommendation: We recommend this product to any modeller looking for faithful cockpit detail reproduction and top-quality workmanship on the finished model. It’s excellent for both intermediate and experienced modellers, allowing you to significantly increase the realism of your miniature without time-consuming scratch-building.

Assembly difficulty: 2/5 – simple and accessible for most modellers.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
