The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus is a true legend among armored vehicle designs. Designed in Germany as a super-heavy tank weighing 188 tons, it was intended to surpass all enemy vehicles in armor and weaponry. Its main purpose was to break through the most heavily fortified front lines. Ultimately, however, due to technological difficulties and the impending defeat of Germany, only two unfinished prototypes were built, and the Maus never saw combat. After the war, both prototypes were captured by the Red Army.
