311 Squadron RAF, formed in the summer of 1940, was a symbol of the heroism and skill of Czechoslovak airmen in exile. The pilots undertook demanding bombing missions over occupied Europe, initially aboard Wellingtons, and later flying Liberators on long-range patrols and return flights to the liberated homeland. The publication presents in detail both the daily life of the crews and the realities of aerial combat, providing specific examples of operations and missions carried out by the squadron up to the end of the war.
The book is an invaluable source of knowledge for modelers building replicas of historical aircraft in scales such as 1/72 or 1/48, thanks to numerous illustrations of colorful camouflages, markings, and details. The included archival photos help faithfully reproduce even the smallest details of model aircraft.
We recommend this product to anyone who wants to develop their modeling passion, delve into the history of Czechoslovak aviation, or is looking for inspiration for new diorama and historical model projects. The recommended level of difficulty for using this publication as reference literature: 1/5 – ease of understanding and broad accessibility of visual and textual information.
