IJN Ryuho was an aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy, created as a result of converting the hull of the fast transport ship Taigei. It was active in the Pacific during World War II, including the Battle of the Philippine Sea in 1944, where it provided air support to the Japanese fleet. Ryuho was in service from 1942 to 1945, and this model depicts its 1944 appearance, when it was equipped with modern armament and featured typical camouflage schemes of the late war period.
