The FS35237 Medium Grey color was used, among others, in camouflage schemes of modernized American aircraft from the 1980s (the Cold War period and modern times), such as the F-14 Tomcat, F/A-18 Hornet, F-15E Strike Eagle, and A-10 Thunderbolt II. Aircraft painted in this color have participated in numerous military conflicts—Operation Desert Storm, various NATO maneuvers, and stabilization missions in the 21st century.
