Trumpeter 00910 German Kingtiger 2in1 in an impressive 1/16 scale is an extremely detailed plastic model kit, allowing you to build the powerful German heavy tank Tiger II Sd.Kfz.182 from World War II. This model stands out thanks to its unique 2-in-1 kit, giving you a choice between two historic turrets: the early, rounded “Porsche” turret or the later, more angular “Henschel” turret. Both turret types saw frontline service in 1944–1945—during decisive battles on the Eastern Front at Sandomierz, Budapest, and Balaton, and on the Western Front during the Ardennes Offensive.

The Trumpeter 00910 model offers a fully detailed and faithfully recreated interior (full interior). The kit consists of over 1850 parts, including more than 400 metal rods and pins as well as photo-etched parts (5 sheets with mesh, exhaust details, and shell bases). The tank hull is divided into four compartments: driver’s, fighting, transmission, and engine – each with meticulously rendered components such as the drivetrain, steering brakes, cooling system, and even a replicated fuel tank. The turret, regardless of the version chosen, features a complete cradle for the 88 mm KwK 43 L/71 gun, opening hatches, full ammo racks (with 72 shells of three types), and can rotate a full 360°. You receive both turret types on separate sprues.
