The Trumpeter 05346 German Heavy Cruiser Blücher in 1/350 scale is a highly detailed plastic model kit representing the German heavy cruiser Blücher. This vessel was one of the most modern units of the Kriegsmarine during World War II and belonged to the famous Admiral Hipper class. Named after Prussian Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, it was operated by Germany during the early phase of World War II.

Blücher entered service in 1939 and participated in the renowned Operation Weserübung – the German invasion of Norway in April 1940. On April 9, 1940, during an attempt to capture Oslo, it was sunk by Norwegian coastal artillery and torpedoes in the Drøbak Sound, becoming one of the first large surface ships lost by Germany during World War II.
