Aber 35D15 Fence type A (1/35) – photo-etched Fence Type A set

Product: Aber 35D15 Fence type A
Scale: 1/35
Manufacturer: Aber

The Aber 35D15 Fence type A set is a precisely crafted photo-etched fence model in 1/35 scale, dedicated primarily to dioramas and vignettes depicting the World War II period and the post-war years in Central and Eastern Europe. This product perfectly replicates the characteristic features of steel mesh fences, which were widely used around civilian and military facilities, as well as factories and military warehouses.

The Type A fence, modeled by Aber in 1/35 scale, faithfully reproduces the prototypes used, among others, in Poland, Germany, and countries of the former USSR, especially during the Cold War and the post-war era. Such fences could be seen surrounding military bases, airfields, barracks, as well as strategic points during World War II. Occasionally, they also appeared in areas occupied by the Allies, e.g. in Germany after 1945.

Material: the set is made entirely from high-quality brass sheet using the photo-etching method, which guarantees excellent replication of details, especially the fine mesh fencing and delicate assembly elements. The design ensures easy assembly and allows for free arrangement of the fence on a model display. The sheets with parts enable the creation of realistic fence sections with clearly defined posts and panels.

Product category: photo-etched accessory set for dioramas and model displays
It is recommended to use Aber 35D15 Fence type A by both intermediate and advanced modellers – due to the required precise cutting, bending, and joining of very small parts (build difficulty – level 4/5).

  • Realistic details based on the original fence designs
  • Compatibility with 1/35 scale dioramas and vehicle models
  • A wealth of arrangement and configuration possibilities

We wholeheartedly recommend this product to historical diorama builders, collectors, and anyone wishing to give their miniatures a unique, authentic atmosphere. The photo-etched Aber 35D15 Fence type A is an essential element in scale modeling, enhancing the realism of any display.

Scale
1/35

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
