The model depicts the Mk. IV 6-pounder (57 mm) anti-tank gun, which entered British Army service in 1942 during World War II. This weapon was the standard anti-tank gun of the British Army and was widely used by Allied forces such as Canada, Australia, and India. The Mk. IV 6pdr played an important role in the North African campaign, the Normandy campaign, and the defense of Italy. Thanks to its greater firepower and better armor penetration, it effectively replaced outdated 2-pounder guns and surprised German armored troops with its capabilities.
