Origins and History of the Sturmtiger

The main armament was a formidable 38 cm RW6-1 L/5.5 rocket-propelled mortar, capable of firing massive demolition shells suitable for destroying fortifications and buildings. Sturmtigers took part in, among other things, fights during the Warsaw Uprising and in the defense of German cities at the end of the war.

Provenance and Use

The model represents a vehicle used exclusively by the German forces. Only 18 units were produced, making the Sturmtiger a rare, yet highly recognizable piece due to its unique silhouette and impressive armament.
