This precisely crafted set authentically reproduces the French fighter-bomber jet in incredible detail. In Israeli markings, it was one of the most important aircraft of the national air force during the Cold War.

Historical Information

The SO.4050 Vautour IIN is a two-seat, all-metal interceptor fighter aircraft developed by Sud-Ouest (SNCASO) for the French Air Force in the mid-1950s. These aircraft were widely used not only by France, but primarily by Israel, which purchased over 30 units of the IIN variant.
In the Israeli Air Force (IAF), the Vautour IIN served intensively from 1958 until the mid-1970s. It took part in the region's most crucial military operations: the Six-Day War of 1967, the Yom Kippur War of 1973, as well as countless patrol and interception missions. To this day, this aircraft is considered a symbol of the strength of Israeli aviation in the 1960s and 1970s.
