Dragon 7508 Berge-Panther mit Pz.Kpfw.IV Turm (1/72)

Dragon 7508 Berge-Panther mit Pz.Kpfw.IV Turm is an excellent 1/72 scale plastic model kit that recreates a rarely seen variant of a German engineering vehicle from World War II. This highly detailed Dragon set is dedicated to intermediate and advanced modelers who are passionate about German military technology and unusual front-line conversions.

Berge-Panther mit Pz.Kpfw.IV Turm is a specialist engineering vehicle based on the medium Panther tank chassis, but utilizing the turret of the Pz.Kpfw. IV tank as an element of fire support or an improvised weapon in the absence of standard armament. Similar unconventional versions appeared mainly towards the end of World War II, as the Allies broke through the front lines and the Germans tried to maximize the use of available components and chassis from damaged vehicles.

  • Scale: 1/72 – ideal for building a collection of vehicles from different fronts and comparing military technology
  • Country of use: Germany (Third Reich)
  • Period of use: World War II, mainly 1944–1945
  • The model is made from high-quality plastic, allowing for precise reproduction of vehicle technical details and Pz.Kpfw. IV turret
  • Category: plastic model kit
  • The set does not include glue or paints, allowing the modeler to individually select modeling supplies and historical paint schemes according to preference

The Dragon 7508 model features detailed reproduction of the recovery vehicle Berge-Panther’s characteristic elements—open compartments, suspension details, realistic representation of the Pz.Kpfw. IV turret, and engineering accessories typical for this type of conversion. The manufacturer has ensured perfect fitting of parts and a clear instruction, making assembly intuitive, although previous experience in building armored vehicles is recommended.

We especially recommend this model to modelers fascinated by German military vehicles from the late war period, as well as collectors wishing to enrich their dioramas with unique constructions. The model is suitable both for elaborate front-line scenes and as a standalone collector’s exhibit.

  • Difficulty level: 3/5 – basic modeling experience and ability to work with small parts are advised.
  • Product of the renowned Dragon brand, guaranteeing high-quality components and a realistic final effect.

Choose Dragon 7508 Berge-Panther mit Pz.Kpfw.IV Turm if you are looking for a unique model for your historical projects and you are passionate about military engineering and the realistic depiction of historical vehicles from World War II.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
