Bronco ZB48002 T17E2 Staghound A.A. (1/48) – plastic assembly model

The Bronco ZB48002 T17E2 Staghound A.A. model in 1:48 scale is an excellent miniature representation of the British armored car, which made its mark during World War II as an effective anti-aircraft support vehicle. The T17E2 version, also known as the Staghound A.A., was developed by the United States but entered service with the British Army and Commonwealth forces, where it was primarily used from 1943 up until the end of the conflict in 1945.

The T17E2 Staghound A.A. was equipped with a twin turret mounting 12.7 mm Browning M2 automatic cannons, making it a highly effective weapon against enemy aircraft as well as light armored vehicles. Based on the proven Staghound chassis, the vehicle was distinguished by excellent mobility and reliability in the difficult frontline conditions of Western Europe and the Mediterranean regions. Historical photographs document widespread use of this machine by both British armored regiments and Canadian and Polish units within the 2nd Polish Corps.

  • The 1:48 scale model features highly accurate details of the armor, armament, suspension, and characteristic equipment components of the T17E2.
  • Bronco places strong emphasis on detail quality – high-grade plastic ensures easy cutting and processing of parts, reducing the risk of warping.
  • The kit includes precise decals, allowing you to mark the miniature with selected Allied unit insignia.
  • The model does not include glue or paint, granting users full creative freedom for customization and the choice of painting technique.
  • This product is dedicated to experienced modelers and collectors interested in World War II armored vehicles.

Thanks to its realistic detailing, the British Staghound A.A. anti-aircraft armored car is an excellent choice both for Allied vehicle collections and as a component of historical dioramas. We recommend it to all modelers passionate about World War II military subjects — the difficulty level of the model is rated at 3/5, making it a challenging project for intermediate builders as well as a valuable addition to any expert collection.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
