The standard towing cables replicated by this set were essential equipment for recovering damaged vehicles during training and combat operations across Central and Eastern Europe, Korea, the Middle East, and Africa. This type of cable was also mounted on postwar T-34/85s, making this set a universal accessory for a range of Soviet armored vehicle models.
