Eduard 53196 German U-boat flags 1/48 – Set of German Submarine Flags in 1:48 Scale

The Eduard 53196 German U-boat flags 1/48 set is a highly detailed modeling accessory intended for German U-boats, offered in the popular 1:48 scale by the renowned manufacturer Eduard. The set includes carefully reproduced flags used by German submarines during World War II (1939-1945), which are key elements to emphasize the authenticity of any model from this period.

German U-boats, which became one of the symbols of the Kriegsmarine of the Third Reich, played a huge role in the Battle of the Atlantic, both during the first and second Battle of the Atlantic. They were often marked by characteristic Kriegsmarine flags and ensigns with the Iron Cross or swastika, which made it possible to identify the vessel and its national affiliation. Thanks to this set, every modeler can faithfully recreate the historical markings of their chosen submarine.

Material: The set includes flags made from high-quality colored photographic print paper and ultra-thin film, allowing for easy recreation of folds and a natural waving-in-the-wind effect. The flags feature realistic one-sided printing, making them look much better than popular decals or flags printed on cardboard. The set does not contain any plastic or resin additions – it focuses solely on flag accessories.
