The Type VII U-Boat is the most recognizable German submarine from World War II (1939–1945). It was widely used by the Kriegsmarine, primarily to conduct wartime operations in the Atlantic, where it formed the main force of Germany’s submarine warfare. The Type VII took part in the famed Battle of the Atlantic and was a key element of the so-called "wolfpacks" that attacked Allied convoys. An example of the use of this type of submarine is the U-96, whose crew is memorialized in the film "Das Boot."

The Revell 05675 model faithfully reproduces the hull shape, superstructure, deck details and equipment, as well as elements characteristic of the Type VII, such as the conning tower with a gun and detailed propellers. The plastic used for the model is characterized by high precision, excellent detailing, and parts that fit well together, making assembly easier. The manufacturer has also ensured the high quality of the included paints and essential accessories, so that the product is complete and ready for work right after opening the box.
