Vehicle history

The Schwerer Panzerspähwagen, meaning “heavy reconnaissance vehicle,” was the primary reconnaissance machine used mainly on the Eastern Front, in North Africa, and in France during World War II. The most recognizable version was the Sd.Kfz. 231/232, featuring eight-wheel drive and solid armor. The vehicle was in service from 1937 to 1945. The “Infanteriewagen” was a rarer variant, specifically adapted for troop transport, which makes the Dragon 6072 model a unique option for collectors.
