AK Interactive AK9021 MIXED GRIT SANDING PADS SET 4 UNITS is a professional set of high-quality sanding sponges created for demanding modelers. The set consists of four super flexible, clog-resistant, and durable sanding pads with different grits: 120, 220, 400, and 800. Each sponge easily adapts to the shape of the worked surface and allows for comfortable, precise sanding even of the smallest details without the risk of cracking or breaking the material.

Pad grits included and corresponding colors:

• 120 – coarse sponge (ideal for the initial sanding stage, removing excess material and larger imperfections)
• 220 – medium grit (for smoothing after rough sanding and shaping contours)
• 400 – fine grit (recommended for smoothing and preparing the surface for painting)
• 800 – very fine (for final smoothing and polishing before varnishing or applying decals)

Each sponge is marked with a different color, making it much easier to identify the grit during modeling work. The pads are made from high-quality flexible foam with antistatic properties and a low tendency to clog, which increases their lifespan even during intensive use.

Application: The set is intended for working on models made of plastic, resin, 3D printed elements, wood, or metal. It is perfect both during the construction of plastic scale models (including scales 1/35, 1/24, 1/72) and for sanding figures, accessories, and model diorama bases. Ideal for finishing work as well as corrections after puttying and gluing.

Difficulty level: 1/5 (easy to use product, recommended for beginner and advanced modelers)

Recommendation: We recommend the AK Interactive AK9021 MIXED GRIT SANDING PADS SET to all modelers who value precision and quality of finish. The flexibility and durability of the pads allow for multiple use, and the varied grits enable full control over every stage of sanding models and diorama or figure elements. This is an excellent tool for both hobbyists and professionals.
