Sword 72153 Nakajima C6N1/S Myrt 1/72

Sword 72153 Nakajima C6N1/S Myrt 1/72 is an advanced plastic model kit, renowned for its extraordinary detail and precision workmanship. It portrays one of the most innovative Japanese reconnaissance aircraft and its unique night fighter version from World War II. The model is aimed at aviation history enthusiasts and collectors interested in the remarkable designs of the Imperial Japanese Navy.

The Nakajima C6N1 "Myrt" was an aircraft that debuted at the end of World War II, serving on aircraft carriers and land bases. From 1944 onwards, it was used for strategic reconnaissance flights over areas such as the Marianas and Okinawa, where its remarkable speed (up to 600 km/h) and operational range allowed for gathering key data for the Japanese command. The modified C6N1/S version, equipped with an obliquely mounted cannon, served as a night fighter targeting American B-29 bombers, making this set particularly unique.
