The Super Mystere B2 was the first European jet fighter to achieve supersonic speed in level flight. The French Air Force began operating it in 1958. In 1959, several dozen units were transferred to Israel, where the aircraft played a key role during Middle Eastern conflicts, such as the Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War. The design impressed not only with its speed but also its combat capabilities – it was equipped with state-of-the-art weapon systems and avionics for its time.

The Special Hobby M48021 set allows for highly realistic detailing of the cockpit, landing gear bays, engine nozzle, and other key parts of the model, thanks to the inclusion of precisely cast resin components and photo-etched add-ons. These parts greatly enhance both the historical and technical accuracy, enabling a result that closely resembles the real aircraft in scale.

• Rich interior details for the cockpit and engine.
• Advanced photo-etched parts that emphasize realism.
• High-quality materials: highly detailed resin and precision photo-etched metal parts.
• Dedicated for Special Hobby and Azur Frrom kits.
• Perfect for intermediate and advanced modelers.

Assembly difficulty level: 4/5 – recommended for those with experience working with resin and photo-etched components.

We recommend this set to all fans of Cold War military aviation history, as well as modelers who wish to achieve a masterful finish on their builds. With this set, your Super Mystere will gain unparalleled precision and realism, making it a wonderful centerpiece in dioramas or a collection of historical jet fighters.
