Eduard EX1119 P-51B/C D-Day Stripes – Painting Masks for Mustang in 1/48 Scale

The professional set of painting masks Eduard EX1119 P-51B/C D-Day Stripes in 1/48 scale is a dedicated accessory for accurately reproducing historical invasion stripes on P-51B and P-51C Mustang fighter models produced by Eduard. This set is designed to recreate the authentic livery of aircraft used by the Allies, primarily the United States and Royal Air Forces, during the Normandy landings in June 1944, in the course of World War II.

The distinctive black and white D-Day stripes played a crucial role during Operation Overlord, allowing for quick and reliable identification of friendly units and preventing friendly fire. These markings were mandatory from June 6, 1944, covering the wing surfaces as well as fuselages of fighter, bomber, and transport aircraft. The Eduard EX1119 set ensures maximum precision in painting the stripes, whose straight, crisp lines are difficult to achieve without professional masks.
