The Kawasaki T-4 was developed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries in the 1980s to meet the needs of modern pilot training as a replacement for outdated aircraft. It entered service in 1988 and has since been the primary training aircraft for JASDF fighter pilots, as well as the platform for the Blue Impulse aerobatic team. The 13th Training Wing (13FTW) based in Ashiya plays a crucial role in training new pilots and regularly takes part in airshows and events commemorating aviation anniversaries.

The 1/48 scale Hasegawa model features precise part division, realistic surface detail reproduction, a detailed two-seat cockpit, and accurate landing gear covers. The decals allow you to build an eye-catching anniversary version, making the model a great display piece for any collection shelf. It is an excellent choice for military aviation fans, modelers who appreciate special editions, and those just starting their journey with training aircraft models.

We recommend this product to all Japanese aviation and modeling enthusiasts who wish to enrich their collection with a unique 1/48 scale model featuring commemorative markings for the 70th anniversary of the 13FTW.
