Hasegawa 02485 F-35 Lightning II (A Version) 'J.A.S.D.F 302 Sq 50th Anniversary' 1/72

The Hasegawa 02485 plastic model kit depicts the highly modern, multi-role F-35A Lightning II fighter jet in precise 1/72 scale. This is an exclusive offer prepared for the 50th anniversary of the 302nd Squadron of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (J.A.S.D.F.), one of the most recognized units of Tokyo’s military aviation, whose distinctive eagle insignia adorns the special anniversary livery of the plane.

The F-35A Lightning II is a fifth-generation stealth aircraft with conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL), designed by the Lockheed Martin consortium and deployed in NATO countries and several U.S. allies. Japan began operating this aircraft in 2016, and the featured 302nd JASDF Squadron, based in Misawa, was among the first to convert to this type. The F-35A is used in modern reconnaissance missions, airspace defense, and precision strike operations—combining advanced stealth technology, network-centric battlefield management, and extensive weapon capabilities.
