KELIK KS48027 US Roundel - Acrylic 3 mm (240 x 240 mm) (190g) 1/48

KELIK KS48027 US Roundel - Acrylic 3 mm (240 x 240 mm) (190g) 1/48 is a unique display base designed for modelers specializing in United States military aviation. Made from high-quality 3 mm thick acrylic, it provides durability and an attractive appearance. The product is dedicated to 1/48 scale models, which corresponds to the most popular format used by manufacturers of aircraft models from World War II, the Cold War, and modern times.

On the surface of the base, which measures 240 × 240 mm, there is a precisely engraved American roundel – a white circle with a star on a blue background and a characteristic red stripe, used on USAF (United States Air Force) aircraft. This insignia has been used from World War II, through the Cold War, and up to the present day. The roundel appeared on aircraft such as the P-51D Mustang during the European campaign, the F-86 Sabre in Korea, and currently on fighters like the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II.
