The P-8A is heavily involved in patrol and reconnaissance operations over strategic waters, and thanks to its capabilities, it is an invaluable asset for the modern US Navy and its NATO allies. Notable examples of its use include operations in the Pacific and the Baltic Sea, monitoring Russian submarine activity.

The Academy 12635 set stands out with its accurate reproduction of fuselage, wings, engines, and tail details, with the option to assemble the landing gear in either extended or retracted position. A rich decal sheet allows for the creation of an authentic US Navy aircraft.

Recommendation: We recommend this model to all interested in modern military technology and collectors of patrol aircraft miniatures. An excellent choice both for solo display and as part of a larger maritime or airfield diorama.
