Hasegawa SP616 Ace Combat F-14A Tomcat "Wardog" Osean Air Defense Force / 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron 1/72

Hasegawa SP616 Ace Combat F-14A Tomcat "Wardog" Osean Air Defense Force / 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron 1/72 is a unique plastic model kit that is sure to delight both aviation enthusiasts and fans of the cult game "Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War". The model has been produced by the renowned Japanese company Hasegawa in 1/72 scale, faithfully replicating the details of the iconic F-14A Tomcat fighter, this time in the livery of the fictional Osean Air Defense Force, 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wardog".

Although the F-14A Tomcat is an aircraft originating from the United States and was mainly operated by the US Navy during and after the Cold War, the Hasegawa SP616 set combines technical accuracy with a touch of fantasy – thanks to the paint scheme used by the heroes of the "Ace Combat" video game (in the fictional country of Osea). This set is a perfect choice for pop culture fans and enthusiasts of unconventional military model paint schemes.

• Scale: 1/72 – allows for precise reproduction of shapes, proportions, and details of the F-14A structure.
• Country of origin of the original: United States, with the set recreating the markings and livery of the fictional country of Osea.
• Historical period: modern times (the game's universe is set in an alternative world inspired by contemporary military aviation).
• Material: high-quality plastic (polystyrene) – smooth sprues, precisely detailed surfaces, deep panel lines, and highly detailed cockpit and landing gear.
• The set includes decals with the distinctive Wardog Squadron emblems, optional weaponry and pylon elements, and a detailed assembly guide with painting diagrams.

Category: 1/72 scale plastic model kit of a fighter aircraft. We especially recommend this model to experienced modelers and collectors who value high build quality as well as interesting and unusual paint variants inspired by pop culture works. Thanks to Hasegawa's official license, you can be sure this kit will satisfy even the most demanding hobbyists.

Difficulty level: 3/5 – the model requires precision and patience during assembly, particularly due to the complex silhouette of the F-14 and its many small parts. This is a great choice for intermediate and advanced modelers, as well as "Ace Combat" series fans looking for a unique addition to their aviation collection.
