Fujimi 460352 IJN Battleship Yamato 1941/Completion Fune Next 1/700

Fujimi 460352 IJN Battleship Yamato 1941/Completion Fune Next in 1/700 scale is an advanced plastic model kit representing the legendary Japanese battleship "Yamato" in its original 1941 configuration. This model is based on authentic blueprints and archival documentation, ensuring exceptional accuracy in recreating the construction details and armament of this giant.

The battleship Yamato was the pride of the Empire of Japan and the flagship of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during World War II. Launched in December 1941, it featured the world's largest caliber main guns (460 mm) among warships and was equipped with powerful armor. Yamato became a symbol of Japan’s military power, taking part in the most important naval operations in the Pacific, including the Battle of Leyte and Operation Ten-Go in 1945.

The model from the Fune Next series stands out thanks to innovative glue-free assembly technology using a precise "snap-fit" system. The kit’s components are made from high-quality plastic, ensuring durability and an aesthetic finish. The set includes injection-molded superstructure and deck details, masterfully reproduced main guns, secondary artillery, and anti-aircraft elements.
