The Fujimi 433783 Sea Way Model (EX) Series IJN Heavy Cruiser (Aircraft Carrier) Mogami (1943) Renewal ver. 1/700 scale model is an extremely precise and richly detailed plastic model kit, depicting one of the most famous hybrid ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy from World War II. The Mogami was originally a heavy cruiser, but after the Battle of Midway in 1942, it underwent significant reconstruction and modernization into an aircraft cruiser, allowing it to carry reconnaissance planes on deck; the configuration represented in this kit is accurate to the year 1943.
