Historical information:

The Fairey Gannet AS.1/AS.4 is a British carrier-based aircraft produced by Fairey Aviation during the Cold War period. It was designed as a multi-role anti-submarine warfare aircraft for the Royal Navy. The Gannet AS.1 entered service in the mid-1950s, actively participating in maritime patrols and ASW missions from 1953 to 1978. The aircraft was primarily operated from aircraft carriers such as HMS Eagle and HMS Ark Royal during the Cold War era.

Product benefits and purpose:

• Exceptional manufacturing precision typical of Quickboost products—each wiper faithfully replicates the original (appropriate shape and detailing unattainable with standard plastic kits).
• The set significantly enhances the realism and authenticity of the Fairey Gannet AS.1/AS.4 model, especially in the crew cockpit, where windshield wipers are visible on display.
• An ideal choice for advanced and intermediate modelers who value intricate details in Cold War-era aircraft models.
• Assembly difficulty: 2/5—installing the set requires delicacy, but should not pose a problem for those with basic experience working with resin parts.

Quickboost QB49139 is a recommended choice for collectors, naval aviation enthusiasts, and those participating in modeling competitions. Enhancing your Airfix plastic kit with this detail significantly elevates the appearance and value of the finished model.
