Academy 13556 German Panzer I Ausf.B & Motorcycl 1/35

The Academy 13556 German Panzer I Ausf.B & Motorcycle 1:35 scale plastic model kit is an excellent choice for military modeling enthusiasts and fans of World War II history. This set allows for a faithful reproduction of one of the most important German light tanks from the early stages of the conflict—the Panzer I Ausf. B—together with its accompanying motorcycle, a typical sight on the Western Front and during the campaigns in Poland or France.

The Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf. B was introduced into the armament of the Wehrmacht (Germany) between 1935 and 1941. This light tank was widely used during the September Campaign (1939), as well as during attacks on France, in Greece, North Africa, and Spain. Its main purpose was infantry support and crew training; however, in the early phase of the war, it also played a significant role in German offensive actions, despite limited armor and armament (2 x MG13 machine guns). The set also includes the characteristic Wehrmacht motorcycle, which perfectly complements the scene and enables the creation of a realistic diorama featuring German armored units from 1939–1941.

The Academy model is made from high-quality plastic, offering precise surface details, replicated rivet lines, and armor plates. The manufacturer has enriched the kit with photo-etched parts, enhancing the realism of the vehicle and motorcycle’s metal elements. The box also contains three soldier figures, allowing you to immediately start building an elaborate diorama scene.
