Omask 80024 Luftwaffe Set 1 (2 x 80007, 80008, 80012) 1/48

The model masking set Omask 80024 Luftwaffe Set 1 1/48 is a specialist kit dedicated to aircraft modelers building Luftwaffe aircraft replicas in 1/48 scale. The product includes as many as four precisely laser-cut masks: two pieces 80007 – Walkways Luftwaffe 5 x 50 mm (OraMask), one 80008 – Walkways Luftwaffe 2 x 125 mm (Oramask), and one 80012 – Luftwaffe Spiral (Kabuki). This is a high-class accessory developed by the renowned company Omask, which specializes in the production of professional painting masks for models.

Historical Application

The masks allow for faithful reproduction of markings and typical painting elements of Luftwaffe aircraft, that is, the German air force from the period of World War II (1939–1945). The set includes templates for painting characteristic walkway stripes on the wings of military aircraft, as well as the striking spiral pattern used, among others, on propeller spinners of machines such as the Messerschmitt Bf 109, Focke-Wulf Fw 190, and Heinkel He 111. Germany used these markings on both Eastern and Western fronts, as well as in operations over the Mediterranean Sea.
