It is the perfect addition to any P-51D model, a type that played a key role during World War II and shortly afterwards.

• Category: resin accessory set for plastic models
• Contents: 2 wheels with realistic block tread, painting masks, detailed assembly instructions
• Historical period: World War II, early postwar period

• Intended use: ideal for P-51D Mustang models, which played a significant role including during the Allied campaigns in Western Europe (1944-1945), escorting bombers and engaging Luftwaffe fighters.

These high-quality resin wheels with block tread are a faithful representation of the original, offering sharply defined wheel hubs and a realistically rendered tread pattern found on later P-51D variants. This tread type increases the model’s authenticity and allows for accurate rendition of machines operating from both paved and grass Allied airstrips. A key advantage of the set is the included set of painting masks, enabling quick and clean painting of wheel rims and tires, which is particularly useful for precise model building.

This product is recommended for both experienced modellers and intermediate enthusiasts looking for ways to enhance the quality of their models. The assembly is of moderate difficulty (difficulty level: 2/5), so even less experienced users will be able to assemble it with some patience and the use of basic resin-working techniques. Eduard accessories are a guarantee of excellent quality, so we highly recommend them to all World War II aviation enthusiasts and modelers striving for the highest realism in their miniatures.
