Historic model – realism and authenticity in 1/72 scale

US ASSAULT TEAM WITH BAZOOKA is an authentic depiction of American infantry soldiers (GIs) who played a key role during the Normandy landings and subsequent battles in Western Europe during World War II. The model focuses on figures with characteristic equipment and uniforms, precisely matching the historical American army uniforms from 1944.

The central element of the set is the M1A1 Bazooka—the first American mass-produced anti-tank rocket launcher, which became an indispensable support weapon during assaults on German positions. This weapon was one of the most effective means against tanks and fortifications during World War II. Assault units used the bazooka, among others, during the Normandy landings, Operation Overlord, and the battles in France and Germany.
