Eduard 481142 B-24J bomb racks HOBBY BOSS 1/48 – Photo-etched Set and Resin Parts for B-24J Bomber

The Eduard 481142 B-24J bomb racks set is a high-quality modeling accessory designed for the B-24J model produced by HOBBY BOSS in the popular 1/48 scale. The key advantage of this product is its precisely made photo-etched fret, supplemented with resin parts, which allows modelers to very faithfully replicate the details of the legendary Consolidated B-24J Liberator bomb bay interior.

Historical Information

The B-24J Liberator was one of the most important American heavy bombers of World War II. It served in the air forces of the United States as well as the air forces of Great Britain, Canada, Australia, and the Soviet Union. The J version was produced between 1943 and 1945 and took part in countless bombing missions over Europe, Africa, and the Pacific—for example, during the famous Operation Tidal Wave, the attack on the oil refineries at Ploesti.
