Hobby 2000 48033 Yak-1b 1. PLM Warszawa 1944-45 (ACADEMY + CARTOGRAF + MASKI) 1/48

Hobby 2000 48033 Yak-1b is a high-class plastic assembly model kit in 1/48 scale, intended for demanding modelers seeking an authentic reproduction of historical aircraft. This kit allows you to build a model of the Yakovlev Yak-1b fighter used by the 1st Fighter Aviation Regiment "Warszawa" during the final years of World War II (1944-1945).

The model is based on renowned Academy sprues, guaranteeing excellent part fit and good surface detailing, such as panel lines, cockpit interior structures, and landing gear details. The kit also includes high-quality decals by the Italian brand Cartograf, known for perfect printing and deep colors. For greater painting precision, the manufacturer has included factory-cut masks for canopy and wheels, significantly facilitating the painting process, even for less experienced modelers.

The Yak-1b is a Soviet single-seat fighter that gained fame during World War II, both on the Eastern Front and in units formed with Polish airmen. These aircraft were used, among others, in the Berlin operation and the battles for Warsaw, where the 1st PLM "Warszawa" provided significant support to the Red Army, and thus the Polish Army achieved its first combat successes in postwar Poland.

The kit components are made of high-quality plastic, ensuring easy processing, good durability, and satisfaction with the build. Additional elements in the form of masks increase assembly comfort and allow for very precise painting of cockpit details without the risk of paint bleeding.
