The Das Werk DW16008 figurine stands out with its excellent attention to detail, making it a faithful representation of a German army NCO from 1943 – a time of fierce fighting on the Eastern Front. The complete uniform typical for Wehrmacht soldiers of this period, precise rendering of the M35 helmet, field tunics, main belts, pouches, backpacks, and detailed weapon equipment provides this figure with maximum realism and historical depth. The model also perfectly represents the characteristic stance and dynamic of a frontline soldier, making it attractive not only for collectors but also for historical diorama builders.

A Wehrmacht NCO played a key role during operations on the Eastern Front, such as the Battle of Kursk in 1943. This figure is highly appreciated both as a standalone model and as a part of developing layouts and military dioramas related to German campaigns on Soviet territory.

We recommend this model to intermediate and advanced modelers – its large scale makes it easier to personalize and paint details, but also requires care during assembly and precision in handling. We rate the build difficulty at 3 on a 5-point scale. An excellent choice for hobbyists looking for realistic historical figures, as well as for those passionate about military models from World War II.

Choosing Das Werk DW16008 Wehrmacht Unteroffizier-Eastern Front 1943 1/16 gives you not only a solid collectors' model, but also a highly detailed piece that can serve as the central point of any historical diorama.
