Historical information

The X-4 missiles were the world's first mass-tested air-launched guided missile, developed by Hermann and Roderich of Ruhrstahl in 1944. They were primarily designed to counter Allied bomber formations. Thanks to wire-guided control, they allowed for more precise targeting than conventional weapons. The SC1000 bombs, commonly known as “Hermann,” are 1000 kg high-explosive aerial bombs widely used during heavy Luftwaffe raids on London and cities on both the Eastern and Western fronts.

Product advantages and recommendation

Modelcollect UA72216 is an excellent choice for modelers building realistic replicas of late-war German aircraft. The set works perfectly as diorama equipment or detailed ordnance for models such as the Ju 88, Do 217, or He 177. We recommend this product to intermediate and advanced modelers interested in military technology and the accurate recreation of World War II realities.
