A brief history of the Fokker E.III

The Fokker Eindecker E.III fighter was the most widely produced version of the Eindecker series and represented a breakthrough in military aviation history. The Germans utilized this monoplane, equipped with a synchronized machine gun, on the Western Front, initiating the so-called “Fokker Scourge”—a period of distinct air superiority over the Allies. This aircraft became famous for its agility and effective firepower, serving both in air combat and reconnaissance missions.
