This variant was widely used by the Luftwaffe during key World War II operations, such as the Battle of Britain in 1940. The aircraft was known for its excellent performance, initially reaching speeds up to 470 km/h, which in later versions increased to over 650 km/h. This plane was used on all theaters of the conflict throughout the entire war, from its outbreak to its final moments.
