AK Interactive AK148003 MiG-21PFM Days of Glory and Oblivion 1/48

The AK Interactive AK148003 MiG-21PFM Days of Glory and Oblivion model kit is designed for demanding modelers and military technology enthusiasts. The model, produced in 1/48 scale, faithfully reproduces the legendary supersonic fighter MiG-21PFM, which for decades was the backbone of the air forces of many Eastern Bloc countries, including the Soviet Union, Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Vietnam, Egypt, Syria, and Afghanistan.

The MiG-21PFM is a modification of the well-known MiG-21, serving mainly during the Cold War period (1964–1990), and widely used in Middle Eastern conflicts, the Vietnam War, and many local skirmishes. The aircraft was renowned for its excellent performance, ease of maintenance, and affordable operating costs, making it one of the most recognizable jet fighters of the 20th century. The "Days of Glory and Oblivion" set celebrates both the fighter's days of battle glory and the gradual phasing out of the MiG-21PFM from active service.
