Product description

The PE35549 set allows for detailed reproduction of features characteristic of the French main battle tank AMX-30B, such as original protective grilles, shield elements, small handles, lamp housings, and numerous surface details on the turret and hull. The metal elements are exceptionally thin and flexible, enabling a perfect fit to the plastic parts of the base kit. All small details, such as ventilation grilles, handles, or intake meshes, gain impressive depth and authenticity thanks to them.

Historical information

The AMX-30B was the main battle tank of the French Armed Forces, used from the 1960s onwards. It served during the Cold War, being one of the key components of the French armored forces and of numerous export user armies. The AMX-30B took part, among others, in operations in the Persian Gulf and in African conflicts at the end of the 20th century. The set enables you to replicate the details of this specific version in 1/35 scale.

Recommendation and difficulty level

The Voyager Model PE35549 product is especially recommended for advanced and intermediate modelers (difficulty level 4 on a 1-5 scale) who want to develop their modeling skills and achieve maximum detail and realism. The set requires precise cutting, bending, and assembling of metal details – but it offers satisfying, professional results that will take your model to the next level.
