Vee Hobby E57020 USS CLEVELAND CL-55 1945 - Deluxe Edition 1/700 is a unique plastic model kit representing the famous American light cruiser USS Cleveland (CL-55) from World War II. The model is made in the popular collector's scale of 1/700, which allows for excellent proportions and detail while keeping the final product compact in size. This product falls into the category of plastic ship model kits, which are highly popular among naval and historical modelers.

The USS Cleveland CL-55, as the first ship of her class, played a key role during the final years of World War II. In 1945, she was used extensively by the United States Navy in the Pacific: supporting landing operations, taking part in the battle for Leyte, and one of the heaviest battles—the invasion of Okinawa. Highly decorated, she contributed to the Allied victory over Japan. After the war, the cruiser was withdrawn from active service in 1947 and was ultimately scrapped in the 1960s.

The Deluxe Edition model from Vee Hobby is characterized by high-quality workmanship. The kit is made of durable, precisely cast plastic. The manufacturer has ensured a wealth of details—realistic representation of hull lines, weaponry components, superstructures, and anti-aircraft systems. The Deluxe Edition often includes additional accessories such as photo-etched parts, railings, or small details for self-assembly, although this set does not include paints or glue, allowing the modeler to interpret the painting and finishing freely.
