The De Havilland Vampire FB.9 was a British jet fighter that entered service just after World War II and was widely used during the Cold War. Alongside the Meteors, this aircraft was one of the first RAF fighters equipped with a jet engine. The FB.9 versions, adapted for tropical environments, played a significant role in various colonial conflicts and policing actions in the Middle East and Asia.

The Eduard FE1385 set provides realistic cockpit elements, seatbelts, detailed instrument panels, air vents, and handles that are missing from the standard kit. Each part allows you to achieve authentic surface texture and accentuate details that were hard to emphasize in the original model. The robust metal ensures longevity of mounted components, resistance to mechanical damage, and precise replication of the real Vampire FB.9 aircraft’s appearance.

This set is recommended primarily for intermediate and advanced modelers (difficulty level: 3/5) who want to enhance the look of their Airfix kit, as well as for collectors of historical dioramas related to the Cold War era. It is an investment not only in appearance but also in the satisfaction of achieving professional modeling results.
