RB Model 35B83 122mm L/38 D-30 SPG T-34 / D-30 122mm Howitzer D-30 is an extremely precisely crafted metal barrel designed for 1/35 scale self-propelled guns and howitzer models. This product is primarily dedicated to models of the Soviet 122mm D-30 howitzer (also known as the D-30 2A18), as well as self-propelled versions mounted on the popular T-34 chassis.

• Scale: 1/35 – allows for faithful reproduction of details
• Country of origin (original): USSR/Russia
• Material: Precisely turned metal (brass), ensuring durability and excellent detail reproduction
• Product type: Metal barrel – a replacement for plastic parts in model kits
• Manufacturer: RB Model – renowned Polish manufacturer of modeling accessories

The 122mm D-30 howitzer was developed in the Soviet Union and entered service in the early 1960s, being used by many Eastern Bloc states and Third World countries. This weapon, used both in its towed and self-propelled artillery versions on the T-34 tank chassis, was actively involved in Cold War conflicts as well as numerous local wars and operations up to the present day. It is famous for its reliability and characteristic tripod base design.

The RB Model barrel was made on a micro-lathe from high-quality brass – ensuring a perfectly smooth surface, dimensional accuracy, and durability compared to often too soft plastic barrels. Replacing the barrel in your model with a metal component not only increases the accuracy of the replica, but also significantly enhances the aesthetic and realistic appearance of the finished model.

The RB Model 35B83 122mm product is an excellent choice for modelers who expect the highest quality, both intermediate and advanced – highly recommended especially for those who strive to create realistic and refined miniature historical military vehicles from the Cold War era.

Assembly difficulty level: 2/5 – basic knowledge of modeling techniques is recommended; requires replacing the original plastic barrel with a metal part.

This is a component that will significantly enhance your collection and will perform perfectly in any diorama project recreating scenes of artillery operations from the mid-20th century.
