Aber 72L-30 40mm 2 pdr. barrel for Matilda Mk.II / British 40 mm 2 pdr. tank barrel for Matilda Mk.II 1/72

Aber 72L-30 Lufa 40mm 2 pdr. do czołgu Matilda Mk.II / British 40 mm 2 pdr. tank barrel for Matilda Mk.II 1/72 is a high-quality turned metal barrel designed for plastic models of the Matilda Mk.II tank in the popular 1/72 scale. This product is dedicated to demanding modelers who wish to ensure historical accuracy and maximum realism in the finishing of their replica of this British armored vehicle from World War II.

The offered barrel replicates the real 40 mm Ordnance QF 2-pounder gun—the main armament of the Matilda Mk.II tank, which was primarily used by the British Army from 1939 to 1945. This tank played a key role during the North African Campaign, especially at El Alamein, where its excellent armor and effective 2-pdr gun allowed it to face off against the German Pz.Kpfw. III and IV. The Matilda Mk.II became a symbol of British armored design in the early years of World War II and was considered nearly impervious to early enemy guns.

• Scale: 1/72 – ideal for plastic models of this size
• Country of use: United Kingdom and Dominions (Australia, Canada)
• Historical period: World War II (years 1939-1945)
• Material: Precisely turned metal (brass), providing the highest level of detail
• Additions: No resin or photo-etched accessories included—just the barrel; can be used with any 1/72 scale model kit
• Category: Metal barrel for plastic model kit (modeling accessory)

The Aber 72L-30 barrel makes it easy to enhance the historical and aesthetic qualities of your Matilda Mk.II model by eliminating typical problems found in plastic counterparts, such as seam lines or deformations. This product is especially recommended for intermediate and advanced modelers (assembly difficulty level: 2/5)—installation requires only precision in cutting out the original plastic barrel and gluing in the metal part.

We highly recommend this product to all enthusiasts of World War II armored vehicles, historical dioramas, and collectors of British tank models. Aber guarantees the highest quality workmanship and historical accuracy of details.
